About the Team:

We are looking for a highly experienced Public Sector Sales Leader to manage the team that is responsible for the growth of our Public Sector business by acquiring new customers and supporting and serving our customers in-life.

Your Role:

This position is accountable for acquisition and retention for Public Sector customers to include commercial performance, customer experience and people engagement.

Responsibilities:

-To manage a number of Sales Practices, which will be end to end business focused on the Public Sector spanning all functions of Telefonica UK`s business

-Lead a team of industry leading professionals who are capable of finding, selling, implementing and managing Mobile and Non Mobile (Digital & ICT) business

-Manage a set of KPI`s, goals, objectives and targets across and within each Practice, which include:

-Enterprise revenue

-Enterprise OIBDA

-TCV

-Enterprise churn

-Enterprise CSI

-Sales excellence standards

-To ensure that Telefonica UK are classified as a strategically important supplier / partner across the Public Sector Practices

-To indoctrinate sales practices, tools and key platforms across each area of responsibility

-Line management responsibility of all the Managing Partners for Telefonica UK`s Public Sector Practices

-Build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders internally including Sales Director and MD of Enterprise & Public Sector Business as well as externally including Senior Government and Local Government Representatives in the Public Sector and key industry partners.

Skills & experience:

-Extensive experience in the UK Public Sector and corporate markets

-Extensive sales leadership strategy experience including setting and implementing strategy as well as delivering to the business plan

-A proven track record of relationship building across a complex ecosystem

-Excellent engagement and gravitas at C-suite level

-An experience sales coach with strong examples of leading successful sales teams

-Great judgement and decision making skills

-Strong commercial acumen and negotiator. You will need to demonstrate strategic thinking through examples of collecting and analysing data/insight in order to build an innovative strategy to transform performance

Grade: PSG6
