Hays Marketing is proud to be working in partnership with ExCeL London who are a world class venue based in the heart of East London, hosting over 400 events and 4 million visitors annually. Due to continued growth and success they are looking to recruit a Head of Media Advertising (OOH) to join their team which is a key and pivotal appointment to help continue to drive growth and business performance.
You will be responsible for managing a small sales team along with overseeing the graphics & media team and report directly to the Commercial Manager. You will have commercial responsibility for ExCeL's Out of Home (OOH) and digital/media advertising revenue and cost base with revenue focused on corporate and out of home media, development of agencies and larger corporate clients. You will also be tasked with managing the commercial, production and instillation teams incorporating a full end to end life-cycle from initial brief and design through production and instillation.
As well as strong knowledge of the out of home media/advertising market, client base and suppliers, you will also have the following:
- Proven commercial performance and delivery of digital advertising and media product portfolio

- Experience of managing people and situations & change
- Previous budgetary control experience
You will be a marketing and sales professional, articulate and well presented, along with a strong team work ethic and have a drive to succeed. Have significant experience and knowledge of out of home media/advertising sales with commercial and operational responsibilities. Advanced level of computer literacy, confident with Microsoft Office suite and experience of managing third party suppliers. Degree level of education is desirable but not essential.
