Head of Business Development (Wind Energy)

Elevation Recruitment seek a commercial and strategic sales professional to take the lead in business development, tenders and account management for a leading supplier into the Wind Energy Market.

This will include working closely with the Directors and International divisions to understand key customers and opportunities, including:

*Implementing the sales strategy with direct responsibility for new business development and existing commercial relations.
*Development of a commercial plan in accordance with the core strategy for the business
*Communicating closely with account managers to follow up lead generation
*Managing CRM system keeping this up to date with all leads, contacts, meeting reports..
*Provide a market insights update to the Directors as part of quarterly strategy meetings
*Lead all Tender submissions
*Develop KPIs and Budget reporting for managing of new business in conjunction with Operational leads / account managers
*Responsibility for managing customer relations across the portfolio of business

Skills and Experience:

*Good technical understanding of the Wind Energy business
*A willingness to travel internationally to develop new markets and maintain customer relations
*Must be able to think strategically and have a good commercial understanding of business
*Previous management of teams of people
*Able to meet the demands of a fast moving business which expects a high level of service
*Able to drive the business forward in multiple work streams simultaneously
*Able to come to Yorkshire once or twice a week
