At FCO Services, we provide solutions that keep our nation’s people, information and assets safe. Although the Foreign and Commonwealth Office is our biggest customer, we work with other government-level organisations all over the world - and we are currently looking to build our customer portfolio even further.
Join us, as part of our expanding Business Development team, and you will be able to play a key part in our future growth.
Develop new strategies that deliver new business:
You will help us achieve our ambitious new business objectives by developing and delivering an effective bid management strategy for the whole of FCO Services. Your strategy will help ensure we secure target revenue, create a qualified pipeline for new business, and see a measurable increase in customer satisfaction at a strategic level.
To make it happen, you will need to work within a small, strategic team, which will work on new opportunities up to the bid stage and provide expert support to managers in our commercial and marketing teams. You will also be responsible for the processes, methods and quality standards that apply to our new business bids and proposals, and will use analysis and reporting to refine our bid-winning strategies on an ongoing basis.
Take your bid management skills to another level
With a proven track record of bid management in UK Public Sector (Central Government), you will know how to manage the complex interactions between customers and service providers and will have a solid understanding of strategic planning and the business cycle. You must have strong numerical and analytical skills, as well as previous experience of managing budgets and staff. It’s also important that you are an accomplished, all-round communicator, who can influence people at director level both inside and outside the organisation.
And rise to your biggest challenge yet
FCO Services keeps information, assets and people safe worldwide. Our customers look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges. Our work, our customers, and the fact that we face both private and public sector demands, will test your bid management skills to the full. It also means you will enjoy the opportunity to have a far-reaching impact, as you make this brand new business development role your own.
Successful candidates will be required to complete security clearance.
Closing date: Midnight 13 th January 2019.
