Job Description

The Corporates – Global Accounting Firms – Sales Lead (UK/Europe) sells the full range of Thomson Reuter solutions to the Global Accounting Firms regionally. The key areas of responsibility are:

* Selling into the Global 7 Accounting Firms, including tax and legal solutions
* Finding new sales opportunities through a deep understanding of both each client’s business and the propositions that Thomson Reuters offers
* Working with the Global Account Lead for each account to contribute towards the account strategy

Accountabilities

* Prospect to potential clients, presenting a business case for our products that fits with each client’s needs
* Respond to Prospect RFIs and RFPs
* Schedule and conduct product demonstrations; team with solutions consultants and the global account team to present a combination of deep product knowledge and broad knowledge of the client relationship
* Maintain a working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the business
* Cultivate relationships with key business owners, technology teams and end users at each firm to develop leads
* Negotiate sales contracts

Key Deliverables

* Delivery of target sales objectives for the sub-segment; growth through cross-sell/up-sell
* Proactive communication with the broader team; transparency in all contacts with each client in order to benefit the entire account team
* Accurate forecasting of revenue, and unit targets; consistent updates of all CRM systems / reporting on market and competitor activities
* Presentations across internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development

Skills and Experience

* 8+ years experience in a similar functions, including complex enterprise level solution sales experience
* Strong consultative sales expertise and negotiation skills; the ability to take a medium-to-long term approach with a set of highly strategic clients
* Comfort with technical concepts and the ability to discuss opportunities with business and technology stakeholders
* Excellent phone, writing and presentation skills
* Validated success in achieving sales targets year over year
* Experience developing and reporting on a sales pipeline
* Ability to work as part of a team rather than as a “lone operator”
* Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder and relationship management, influence, and gaining credibility
* Strong communicator who can speak and write clearly and effectively with all contacts, both in and outside Thomson Reuters
* Highly entrepreneurial and ability to work across multiple teams/parts of the organization
* Ability to successfully lead in an agile environment
* Builds effective relationships and partners with others to develop joint solutions
* Ability to effectively navigate and perform in dynamic environments
