FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE – DRINKS

£28,000 - £32,000 + BONUS + CAR ALLOWANCE + MOBILE + LAPTOP + PENSION + 25 DAYS HOLS + BHs

My client is a regional high-end drinks business based in the South East. The role we are recruiting for is a Field Sales Representative to take control of the area of North London and to play an integral part to the aggressive growth plans of the company.

The Role

  • 25% of your role will be prospecting for new business and 75% account management
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers
  • Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
  • Quoting prices to customers as and when required
  • Working closely to a budget as set by the Sales Director
  • Close working relationships with suppliers
  • Close working with relationships with the Telesales Department
  • Being the first point of contact for customer issues
  • Working towards team and individual incentives
  • Ensuring repeat customer business with the use of investments
  • Negotiating with customers and suppliers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer
  • Self-management of expenses, mileage and budget
  • You will be responsible for the East London territory

The Candidate

  • You must come with an FMCG Drinks Sales background
  • You must be a ‘hunter’
  • You will be dynamic, ambitious, driven and hungry for success
  • Proven experience of developing and increasing business
  • A detailed understanding of the aims and objectives of the company
  • An excellent working knowledge of the products and a detailed understanding of customer need and expectation
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan workloads in order to ensure both internal and external demands are met
  • The ability to be both proactive and reactive when responding to matters arising at work
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • You will live in a commutable distance to North London
