Field Based Account Executive. Oxfordshire/Hertfordshire
£30,000 + basic, £35,000 OTE in year one uncapped + Fully Expensed Car (inc fuel) + Pension + additional benefits.

This is an outstanding sales account management opportunity working for a global German manufacturing company with an instantly recognisable brand. As Account Executive, you will support a Regional Sales Manager to develop existing relationships within the retail sector. The areas account portfolio of around 300 separate accounts is worth around £1.7M which are independent retailers and distributors, multiple retailers, national trade distributors, showrooms and department stores. Making appointments is not usually necessary as the accounts know you well.

To apply you will be:

  • An early career sales professional aspiring to a long-term development path in sales
  • Ideally a graduate of business studies with some sales experience, with considerable drive and motivated to take responsibility for updating job knowledge through self-learning (e.g., reading sales and marketing publications/trade journals, developing personal business networks)
  • Flexible attitude and approach, with high energy and focus and determination to succeed
  • Self-motivated, goal driven, results and detail oriented.
  • Any experience will be from the bathroom, kitchen or bedroom sector would be advantageous
  • Highly personable with the ability to forge strong business partnerships
  • A well-presented and highly credible, trustworthy professional
  • You will be a confident communicator with a strong character and belief in your own conviction and decisions.
  • IT literacy with major office programmes such as Word and Excel

Extensive investment will be made in teaching you about the entire commercial operation and giving you the best possible opportunity for long term success and progression within a major multinational manufacturer. Therefore a key part of the interview process will be based on your attitude, aspirations and determination to succeed.
