Event Sales Manager

The Sales Recruitment Network is seeking a Sales Manager for a leading business networking events provider. Base salary to £25K, depending on experience, OTE £40K+.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing and well-established business networking events provider that offers professionals a chance to increase their industry knowledge and meet colleagues within their industry, through a range of events such as Forums, Summits and Conferences.

You will be responsible for selling and managing two events a year, exceeding sales revenue and delegate targets by obtaining quality suppliers and delegates. You will also motivate and manage Delegate Sales Executives assigned to the event to ensure that the confirmed delegates are of the highest calibre.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage and increase event data via CRM

·         Hit and exceed all targets

·         To identify and source new business opportunities

·         Meet and exceed set KPI’s across call rates, new prospects and targets

·         Set and achieve weekly goals and targets set as part of a team

·         Cold calling to maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects

·         Follow up incoming lead generation prospects from marketing and data team

·         Account manage existing clients and cross sell into other events where relevant

·         Host face to face meetings with new and existing business

·         Upsell sponsorship opportunities and bespoke solutions for clients

·         To attend industry relevant events to promote and represent our client’s brands

Essential skills:

·         Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach

·         Proven track record and a strong background in event/exhibition sales

·         Self-motivation with ability to motivate others.
