EMEA Sales Director, Technology Sales, Cambridge, £100,000 to £126,000 Basic, £170,000 OTE, dependent on experience +share options + full executive benefits package. This is a Senior sales leadership role with an international sales led technology firm due to internal promotion. It requires a proven leader that can bring fresh ideas, leadership capabilities and new 'modern selling' methodologies. Your objective is to transform a technically biased reactive sales group into a proactive commercial sales team by leveraging social selling tactics.

What you will do

You will manage a team of thirty staff across four territories in EMEA and improve their efficiency and effectiveness via objective performance measures. Historically, this team has been the talent pool for future leaders and many of the current board, and regional leaders started within this team.

While an overused term these days, we are looking for a transformational leader that can take an already successful team to the next level.

What is required

* A proven sales and marketing leader that has been trained in modern selling methodologies such as social selling, inbound marketing and is an expert with CRM systems and marketing tools to increase sales effectiveness and efficiency. For example, you should be an expert in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and knowledgeable with terms such as 'trigger selling', 'referral selling' and 'inbound marketing'.

* You will be a graduate with at least five years people-management experience that has validated their knowledge and expertise with something like an MBA or other Masters level business or marketing qualifications.

* You will have worked for corporate organisations yet have an entrepreneurial spirit. Unfortunately, someone with solely SME experience will struggle in their culture.

* You are expected to have immediate gravitas and quickly able to make an impact upon the team.

* You will be insightful, data-driven and able to build measures that facilitate performance excellence.

* As a person you will have a dedicated and focused approach yet be warm, engaging, approachable, professional, inspiring, highly self-motivated and personable.

Your CV should demonstrate logical career growth and facts and stats on how you have taken businesses and teams to their next level.
