A cutting edge, fast growing consumer electronics business is looking for an EMEA Account Director to based from their London office with some international travel.

Successful candidates must be fluent in English plus one of French, Italian or Russian.

Client Details

Our client is a cutting edge consumer electronics brand. Since their introduction in 2002 they have sold over 20 million of their products worldwide becoming the global leaders in their space. They have some hefty growth plans for 2019 and this role will be key to that.

The EMEA operation is headquartered in London but they also have teams in Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria and Portugal.


As EMEA Account Director your role would be to drive the profitable growth of their products through directing and guiding sales and marketing activity. Your responsibilities would include the following:

  • Be the principal account contact point to distributors in your assigned territory. Direct the sales and marketing execution in your markets based on budgets and corporate guidelines.
  • Manage daily the sell-in, sell-out and inventory dynamics to target levels defined by management.
  • Develop, communicate, & execute sales plans, budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct first rate market development together with the partners.


The successful candidate should have the following skillset:

  • A strong track record with European retail channels in the consumer technology market.
  • Solid knowledge in retail merchandising, retail growth strategies and negotiation.
  • Customer focused with high integrity
  • Be fluent in English plus one of French, Italian or Russian.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, passionate and an experienced Europeans retail sales professional with a demonstrable record of driving profitable revenue growth in the high-tech consumer space.

You should be a champion of consultative selling, very knowledgeable about retail account tactics and channel execution strategies. You have in the past successfully managed distributors across EMEA.

You are technology and consumer savvy and have actively participated in building and selling a premium brand.

Job Offer

Basic salary circa £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience plus Bonus
