Education Software Sales- Schools Account Manager
£45k Basic, £70k OTE + benefits.
Based North West England
Our client is a market leader in the provision of education software, support and professional services to Education. A FTSE 250 company, they have had a very successful year and are looking to continue their success with the recruitment of an additional Education Software Sales Account Manager covering Schools in the North West of England.
The successful applicant will be developing, managing and sustaining relationships with nominated existing School customers in the North West, having a good understanding of their needs and by providing a level of service that ensures their commitment to our client. You will maintain a high and visible level of customer activity across your assigned client base and produce timely and accurate site visit reports, responding to customer and prospect queries, answering tender responses, attend meetings and follow the opportunity lifecycle through to successful completion .
The Education Sales Executives will play a strategic role in preserving market share by proactive engagement with key clients, influential groups within the education sector and at conferences, federations and road shows to identify product and information requirements of existing and prospective customers. The role will spend significant time in Schools to further develop the relationship and to ensure there is a full understanding of our client's branding and differences.
The ideal candidate will have a structured and well trained sales background with previous experience of working selling to the education sector, in particular Schools, with a solid understanding of education and the teaching environment. Preferably already selling Enterprise Software to the Public Sector and a Graduate, the successful applicant will be a proven networker, self-motivated, service oriented and able to work autonomously with the ability to plan/structure workloads effectively. You will have great communication skills and be a clear and influential communicator able to adapt your style across different client levels and groups from Heads to Business Managers or local authority leads. You will also need to be an engaging, confident and inspirational speaker and presenter, able to passionately advocate our client brand along with strong listening skills.
