Education Software Sales – Account Manager and Business Development


£45k Basic, £70k OTE + benefits.

 

Based East Midlands



We are a Global supplier of Education software, support and professional services to Schools, FE Colleges, Multi Academy Trusts and Universities across the world. Our technology assists Educational establishments to help their students access the best opportunities to succeed. Due to extensive growth, we are now seeking to recruit additional Education Software Sales people in Account Management and Business Development in the geographical areas shown above.

The successful applicant will be developing, managing and sustaining relationships with nominated accounts in the Education Sector within the allocated geographical territory. You will have a excellent understanding of your client’s needs and be able to provide a level of service that ensures their commitment to our company. You will maintain a high and visible level of customer activity across your assigned client base and produce timely and accurate site visit reports, responding to customer and prospect queries, answering tender responses, attend meetings and follow the opportunity lifecycle through to successful completion.

The Education Sales Executives will play a strategic role in preserving and increasing market share by proactive engagement with key clients and influential groups within the education sector. You will also attend conferences, federations and road shows to identify product and information requirements of existing and prospective customers. The role will spend significant time in Educational establishments to further develop the relationship and to ensure there is a full understanding of our branding and differences.

The ideal candidate will have a structured and well trained sales background with a minimum of 3 years previous experience of selling to the education sector, with a solid understanding of education and the teaching environment. Preferably already selling Enterprise Software to the Public Sector and a Graduate, the successful applicant will be a proven networker, self-motivated, service oriented and able to work autonomously with the ability to plan/structure workloads effectively. You will have great communication and written skills and be a clear and influential communicator able to adapt your style across different client levels and groups from Heads to Business Managers or local Authority leads. You will also need to be an engaging, confident and an inspirational speaker and presenter with strong listening skills, able to passionately advocate our client brand along.
