Software Bid Manager
Our client is a market leader in the provision of . A FTSE 250 company, they have had a very successful year and are looking to continue their success with the recruitment of an Software Bid Manager to work with UK and International Schools as well as with UK based Libraries.
The successful applicant will work in conjunction with Sales to manage, plan, and formulate winning capture strategies, and obtain the resources necessary to execute a comprehensive and winning response. You will prepare presentations and documents to support workshops, meetings and client interviews for both internal and external audiences where required and will formulate non-technical components of bids, ensuring relevance, accuracy and high quality. You will also need to direct and manage the process for assigned bids, to include the development and coordination of Win Strategies as well as creating and maintaining detailed bid delivery plans, tracking schedules, budget and report status when required to senior management for key bids. Bids will range in value from £80K to £1m supporting up to 80 bids per annum.
The ideal candidate will have previous Bid Management experience in IT and or Commercial/ Public Sector proposal Bid/Tender/Capture/Pursuit management of at least 5 years. You will ideally have a background within the schools/education sector. You will need a demonstrable track record of business development and/or sales experience. You will need to demonstrate the ability to collaborate and work as part of a team and as an individual along with being a strong communicator with an excellent command of written and spoken English
