DESCRIPTION

The Edge Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for working with a significant CSP partner to drive the success of AWS based edge services into the Commercial Enterprise, SMB and Public Sector segments in EMEA. This will include executing sales motions for edge solution built with AWS ISV and SI partners. The successful candidate will build and manage key relationships in the CSP Sales and Cloud Portfolio organisations, developing sales strategies, opportunity pipeline and delivering customer wins for solutions running on AWS Wavelength Zones. You will promote and orchestrate edge sales activities within the AWS Field Organisation, developing joint opportunities for the CSP and AWS to solve for customer challenges with low latency edge services.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology and solution sales, and have a proven track record for orchestrating and leading across boundaries and ecosystems. In this role, you will be required to build relationships and successful outcomes with senior leaders and virtual resources across AWS and the CSP in EMEA, and the broader ecosystem of AWS partners. You will have experience of cloud services in the Telco industry, ideally in the domain of edge services. You will have strong business development and entrepreneurial skills and should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and be able to convey compelling value propositions for customers at the edge. The position requires a strong technical acumen, along with the working knowledge of software architecture and the enterprise software landscape. As a leader and builder at AWS, you will have the opportunity to accelerate significantly the adoption of AWS edge services, helping customers solve challenges and unlock new opportunities with industrial IoT and super low latency use cases. This role has EMEA responsibility and will work closely with AWS sales teams, product teams, partner development managers, solution architects, and professional services.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Develop sales strategies and plans in conjunction with CSP partner.
· Deliver new customer wins in conjunction with CSP partner.
· Deliver top line revenue growth for edge services with the CSP partner
· Execute sales campaigns in Commercial Enterprise, Public Sector and SMB
· Orchestrate the edge ecosystem to deliver customer solutions with the CSP
· Represent the AWS edge services strategy with the CSP partner to internal and external stakeholders.
· Working with CSP and AWS Account Teams, build C-level relationships with our top customers to generate interest and business in AWS edge services
· Partner with AWS and CSP Account Teams to build strategic relationships and customer opportunity pipeline.
· Work collaboratively inside of AWS and CSP to drive new solutions to market with our solution architect, and professional service teams
· Work with ISV, SI’s and Enterprise in the high touch build and sell of CSP Edge solutions
· Work with Account Managers and supporting teams on creating a customer obsessed ISV, SI & Enterprise CSP Edge experience
· Prepare and give business reviews to AWS senior leaders within EMEA
· Develop formal case studies and other forms of references, highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS edge with the CSP.
· Capture learnings and propose recommendations to increase revenue associated with CSP Edge solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· More than 10+ years of sales, business development, enterprise account management, or partner sales management experience
· Consistently exceeds key performance metrics
· Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
· Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track-record of driving emerging/disruptive
· Ability to think and work creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a diverse and networked ecosystem
· Demonstrated pan-EMEA expertise in Telecommunications or CSP market verticals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Deep knowledge of Telecommunications landscape and partner ecosystem.
· Prior experience in a technology-centric company, holding a role related to sales, business development
· Experience developing an indirect sales channel, creating programs with partners to drive scale and velocity, and delivering sell-through revenue.
· Track record for managing sales accounts and territories including sell-with motions with partners.
· Excellent communication and writing skills.
· Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
· Exposure to edge services and 5G technologies.
· MBA or equivalent.
