POSITION SUMMARY:

* Leads the delivery of over £35M retail business operating within the UK across 3 channels;

1- Outlet Free Standing Stores channel including the largest FSS with sales of over £10m

2- Employee Company doors channel

3 -SPC channel (online staff shopping portal)

*

Leads on achieving brand sales in line with agreed P&L (including NOP) targets for brand(s) in country, with signoff held by Corporate Commercial Director.

*

Works closely with Corporate Commercial Director to set strategies and goals for brand across all channels

*

Drives and leads marketing and education programmes to ensure teams are enabled to deliver goals

*

Identifies and recommends opportunities for the development and growth of the TCCS outlets and employee sales channels in the UK

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Collaborates with Commercial Director, Finance Business Partner, HR Business Partner to set fiscal plans and efficient budgets and ensures alignment with Global finance teams.

*

Responsible for delivery of sales and NOP plans for brand

*

Identifies opportunities and risks, provides feedback to Commercial Director and develops recommendations and initiatives

*

In collaboration with management team, responsible for strategic direction of the brand.

*

Prioritizes key issues, responsible for engaging corporate resources where required and allocates team resources based on need.

*

Responsible for the cascade of brand strategy through brand conferences and management of field resources.

*

To develop and implement an appropriate education program to support a multi brand / outlet environment for all store management and team members to deliver excellent customer service

*

Build business partnerships with key internal and external influencers and stakeholders

Ensures Customer and Market Growth

*

Understanding the outlet consumer, who and why how the outlet consumer fits within the UK distribution.

*

Develop and drive implementation of distribution strategy based upon sound business and brand principles to include:

*

Coordinates Site Expansion, Lease negotiation and planning

*

Leads stores design, budgeting, creation & implementation

*

Leads activities associated with new door and market launches

*

Creates and maintains a network of cooperative relationships with business partners

Manages Operational Effectiveness

*

Streamlining operations, reducing costs, and implementing financial and management technologies to enhance efficiency of divisions operations

*

Full inventory Management for division

*

Oversees forecasts to ensure planning accuracy and appropriate inventory levels

*

Manage the inventory acquisition process to optimise sales whilst managing obsolescence and margin.

*

Drive consumer marketing strategy, creation and implementation, including promotional and VM.

*

Development and implementation of key merchandising guidelines and education applicable for a multi brand / volatile stock environment.

*

Ensures that division’s image and position are properly maintained in people and materials, in accordance with corporate standards.

Improves Business Processes

*

Collaborates with Corporate Commercial Director and UK Regional management to identify opportunities for streamlining operations, reducing costs, and implementing financial and management technologies to enhance efficiency of brand operations

*

Evaluates competitive challenges for brand and identifies opportunities for growth and profit enhancement.

*

Monitors competitive activity and trends in markets, customers, products, prices, and channels

*

Leads P&L analysis by door and takes appropriate actions to optimise NOP

*

Identifies opportunities and risks, provides feedback to Corporate Commercial Director and develops recommendations and initiatives

Lead and Develop People

*

Optimum organizational design and work force planning to ensure effective delivery of the plan through limited and stream lined structure, planning for department future needs

*

Sets performance objectives for direct reports and ensures performance plans are completed for all employees in the division

*

Cascades and provides direction. Clearly communicates priorities and required results.

*

Provides coaching, constructive feedback, development opportunities, and recognition to direct reports.

*

Sets stretching goals and provides direction, coaching and support to ensure they are achieved

*

Identifies opportunities to develop high potential staff through involvement in new projects, expanded accountabilities, promotions, and/or transfers.

*

Works through team to ensure proper training of all point-of-sale, area management, and office personnel.

*

Establishes and maintains high workplace operating standards and values.

Qualifications

*

Flexible to travel between 2 main offices - Kites Croft, Fareham (2 days per week) / ONE Fitzroy Place, London Corporate Stores / New sites

*

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and make speedy proactive strategic decisions to adapt to a volatile environment

*

UK Divisional / Brand Sales experience National level or above

*

National Budgeting experience, Retail /Net & P&L Analysis

*

Strategy Creation experience to deliver Goals

*

Strong Leadership qualities

*

People Management experience for optimum organizational work force

*

People Performance planning

*

Experience on leading Marketing and Education strategies

*

Experience on generating New business and Innovations to conception to ensure Market Growth

*

Operational Experience across Multiple departments for reducing costs streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency

*

National Inventory Management experience
