Digital Subscription Field Sales
Leading UK publisher with over 28 million monthly unique views.
Basic salary £35k plus £18k commission uncapped.
Are you a Media Sales person? Do you sell advertising subscription to businesses? Are you customer centric and motivated? Do you have a likeable, outgoing personality? If so, would you like to work for one of the UK's leading publishers with in excess of 180 newspapers, magazines and trade publications? With a digital audience of over 28 million unique browsers monthly, there is huge scope for you to lead a transition from print to digital advertsing.
We are a household name and Global leader in media. Due to over 25% growth last year in digital, we are now looking to expand our UK sales team. This role is a mix of new business and account management where you will be home and field based and visit customers in a defined geographic territory. The role is working closely with your clients to drive the transition from Print to digital. You will essentially work hand in hand with customers to train, mentor, handle objections and demonstrate the benefits and value of digital advertising over print. Gaining the customer buy-in will maximise profit for them and ensure ongoing loyalty and commitment from them, maintaining and increasing the customer spend per year.
To apply you will need to be selling advertising, at least 30% being digital and have at least 2 years experience of advertising sales with excellent sales skills and the ability to successfully manage existing business accounts. You will have an extensive understanding of the sales process, for example you may have worked for company such as Autotrader, Yell, Amazon or smaller companies selling annual subscription advertising sales to end users. Personality and performance are key to success in this position. In essence you will be an amiable and professional salesperson and consistently deliver results. You must have stability and a proven track record in business to business advertising sales.
The basic salary on these positions is £32k plus £18k commission (uncapped), Company car, Contributory pension, 25 days holiday, great scope to progress, excellent training scheme and ongoing opportunities to win incentives.
