About the Role:

16-hour weekend vacancy


We’re looking for Section Coordinators (Department Supervisors) with a passion for retail and high energy to be part of our food retail business transformation in our Silverlink store and be part of the team to build a bigger, bolder and better food business.

Key Accountabilities

* Lead the team to be all in for the customer by proactively serving our customers and role modelling the service behaviors
* Plan and coordinate store resources and activity to meet the needs of the customer and ensure you and your colleagues deliver excellent standards of product presentation and availability
* Develop a selling culture within the team by providing regular feedback to colleagues
* Deliver the resource allocation for your areas of responsibility, demonstrating and driving flexibility across the store to meet customer needs
* Coordinate and maintain a safe and legal working environment for colleagues and customers
* Make every penny count by driving efficiencies, working productively and minimise losses throughout the store
* Support the management team to look for opportunities to work efficiently and continuously improve
* You must be able to work, early, core and late shifts

Technical skills/business skills required

* To give great customer service by ensuring that you role model the service behaviours by making the customer the priority at all times, Ensuring every line is available on opening.
* To role model the right behaviour and skills, to your colleagues, at all times
* Coordinate Section Operational activities through the Customer Assistants, assisting the team in delivering the expectations of fill and availability. Implement layouts accurately. Action guidelines
* Co-ordinate all aspects of staffing including fully up-skilling yourself on all relevant aspects of YPP
* You will be required to ensure your team are in the right place and delivering exceptional standards of presentation
* Meeting productivity targets
* Making decisions based on volumes of stock available
