After the success of EventLAB 2018, the event is back, bigger and better, at the Business Design Centre in October 2019.

As a Delegate Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving attendees for the event, creating buzz amongst the corporate event professional community, and selling workshop tickets for some of the event’s highest value content.

As part of this role you will immerse yourself within the events industry, understanding and conveying the value proposition of participating in our cutting edge B2B conference to clients.

This position will require contacting clients via warm & cold avenues, such as: email marketing, client databases and diligent lead research. You should feel comfortable with selling a product focussed on professional development, B2B networks and participation of customers.

Ultimately, you’ll play a key role in making EventLAB 2019 an incredible occasion for the UK events industry.

Key requirements:

* Build relationships with key decision makers at new and existing clients to convey potential ROI of EventLAB
* Build network of event industry professional through attending sector specifics events
* Continue to iterate sales process and provide product guidance based on feedback.
* Negotiate bespoke packages for clients that are both competitive for them and in line with company revenue targets
* Work closely with marketing team to ensure the delegate sales strategy is aligned with brand marketing
* Ensure full coverage of designated customer and client base
* Use initiative to identify and follow up opportunities

Experience

* Have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience (ideally in a Delegate Sales role)
* Have exceeded sales based targets and an understanding of sales cycles
* Have the ability to think creatively when solving problems
* Have strong communication skills in verbal, written and physical mediums
* Have an entrepreneurial spirit; professional and business savvy demeanor
* Have a positive outlook and an enjoyment of overcoming obstacles
* Have a consultative approach to B2B sales
