DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a challenging career in business-development? Do you have prior experience and a track-record in delivering against targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Amazon, one of the world's leaders in e-commerce is looking for New Account Managers (business-development professionals) to join its Third-Party Marketplace in London.

Your role will be focused on partnering with high potential retailers across a variety of different categories to grow their online businesses through promotional and deals activity e.g. participating in Prime Day and Black Friday deal events. You will prospect, call, qualify and develop a yearly Promotions calendar with high potential online merchants that deliver competitive selection, pricing and product availability. You will also work as part of our EU Deals team to ensure delivery of Deals strategy across all major deals events maximizing both Customer Experience and sales. Lastly you will be responsible for using feedback from the selling partners you work with to find opportunities to improve Amazon’s products, services, processes, systems and tools for all 3rd party sellers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prospect, call, qualify and develop a yearly Promotions calendar with high potential online merchants that deliver competitive selection, pricing and product availability
2. Effectively prioritize and lead a pipeline of sellers to consistently meet/exceed quarterly targets
3. Seek out new Deal opportunities – regularly reviewing metrics to identify areas of unexploited potential
4. Ensure delivery of Deals strategy across all major deals events maximizing both Customer Experience and sales.
5. Educate sellers to learn and master Amazon's promotions tools and systems so they may become self-sufficient
6. Track and report business development results, analyze data, interpret reports and information for your portfolio of sellers
7. Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets in a KPI-driven environment

The right candidate will be a role model in Deliver Results, Earns Trust, Bias for Action and Invent and Simplify and the role provides an opportunity to develop Think Big and Dive Deep as we shape the future strategy for Promotions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree
· Demonstrated track record of success in account management, product marketing or management consulting roles.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply
· Interested in new technologies, capable internet user
· Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Ability to work with wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
· Experience solving analytical problems, either in professional experience (data analysis) or education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in Flash Sales, Deals or Promotions would be an advantage.
· Experience in outbound sales would be an advantage but is not essential.
· Experience with e-commerce or retail would be an advantage
