We have dynamic growth and little room for error, so data plays an integral role in our decision-making process. Data Analysts are the wizards working behind the scenes to provide insight to the business, collaborating and supporting groups across Groupon. By understanding and interpreting data structures and assessing business performance, you will generate objective and actionable short and long-term recommendations based on hard data.

You’ll spend time on the following:

You will build strong stakeholder relationships in order to understand business challenges and collaboratively drive creative solutions

You will create dashboards & reports that provide actionable insights for commercial stakeholders

You will collect, organise, and visualise data to succinctly communicate ideas, insights and concise recommendations to partners and leadership

You will help manage and maintain the suite of existing reports, troubleshooting issues and liaising with users

We’re excited about you if you have:

2 years or more experience in a similar role

Prior experience in e-commerce, consumer insights, or marketing campaign effectiveness a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering preferred

Experience working with SQL & proficiency in Microsoft Excel

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

You get excited by working with data, measuring performance, and making objective decisions based on quantitative and/or deductive reasoning

Experience with Tableau or other Data Visualisation tools would be advantageous

You're proactive and feel comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced work environment

Whether it's via email or presentation, you're able to communicate complex information simply and clearly
