Customer Services Advisor – up to £20,000 a year + bonuses – Leicester

The Role

Ross Handling Ltd is looking for a bright and able Customer Services Advisor who is customer focused to join a new customer services team within a dynamic sales environment. The strong growth of Ross Handling’s e-commerce website has created a need for someone who not only possesses a high level of accuracy in the processing of orders, but who is also confident to handle enquiries and take orders over the phone.

You will need to work proactively in a team to ensure excellent customer service for customers, chasing up deliveries and dealing with courier issues to ensue the needs of customers are met. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career further in customer service.

The key responsibilities of a Customer Services Advisor include, but is not limited to:

  • Responding to emails
  • Chasing deliveries/dealing with courier issues
  • Handling product returns
  • Customer enquiries
  • Processing leads to the sales team
  • Taking basic orders and processing payments over the phone

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Customer Services Advisor:

  • At least two years’ previous experience in an administration and/or sales role required
  • Excellent computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Experience of Sage 200 and Magento desirable but not essential
  • Strong communications and listening skills to be able to empathise and accurately respond to the customer’s needs
  • Able to work productively and effectively in a team and prioritising workload efficiently
