Position: Customer Service Officer
Location: Whitley Bridge, Yorkshire (20 miles from Leeds / 15 miles from Doncaster)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off
Salary: £17,500 per annum
Main Purpose of Role:
They are currently recruiting a Customer Support Officer, based at the Global Head Office, Whitley Bridge (DN14 0HR), just off Junction 34 of the M62.
Key Responsibilities and Key Results Areas:
The roles will sit within the Customer Satisfaction Centre at Whitley, which manages approximately 500 – 800 calls per day.
The Customer Support Officer will take a variety of incoming calls from customers and will manage within a timely and professional manner to bring them to a successful conclusion. Calls may involve a range of matters, for example, general enquiries, fault reports, chasing of existing faults or requests for new installations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
They are very keen to hear from candidates with previous and demonstrable experience within a similar inbound customer service / contact center environment. Candidates must have experience providing a high level of customer service/support.
To be successful you must be a confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills. They are keen to hear from individuals with a high attention to detail as well as the ability to input data accurately.
IT skills are an absolute must for this position – candidates must be IT literate as well as proficient and confident using multiple systems as well as Microsoft Office.
They are very keen to speak to flexible, determined and team focused individuals with the ability to perform at a constant level whilst under pressure.
