We have a great opportunity for a Customer Risk Assessment Model Oversight Manager to join our team in London.

As a Customer Risk Assessment Model Oversight Manager, you will provide day-to-day regulatory ready model oversight capability in the 2nd line Financial Crime Compliance Model Definition and Analytics team.

The role holder will be responsible for the fulfilment of model oversight requests raised covering Customer Risk Assessment by our 1st and 2nd line Financial Crime teams, including Model Definition and Analytics, FIU, SARU, and Financial Crime Control.

As a Customer Risk Assessment Model Oversight Manager your main responsibilities will be

* Day-to-day management and oversight of Financial Crime Models (Customer Risk Assessment).

* Fulfilling requests raised, in respect to Model Oversight, by other 1st and 2nd line Financial Crime teams.

* Delivering presentations and analysis findings to internal & external stakeholders, including regulators, both in written and verbal format.

* Escalating identified risks and / or issues with control mechanisms, risk models and outputs, where appropriate.

* Supporting the 2nd line Financial Crime Compliance function in the definition and execution of a robust Financial Crime risk management framework; with a clear focus on the customer journey and experience management of FC risk arising from internal and external activities, processes and people.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Previous experience in a Financial Crime Model Oversight role, with exposure to analytics and the tools used to manage Financial Crime risk.

* Has an appreciation of working with data and tools such as SQL Server, SAS, R and Python.

* An understanding of Financial Crime systems and tools used for customer risk assessment and a viewpoint for model innovation.

* Exposure to regulatory scrutiny.

* Sound communication skills and the ability to complete outputs for different audiences, including senior management.
