We are looking for a Customer Acquisition Manager to join our Commercial Delivery team in Wimbledon. This role will lead Inbound Customer Acquisition; driving the operational plan for New Business via Inbound Domestic & General routes to market.

This role will work closely with Operations to ensure Contact Centre performance is optimised; working collaboratively with Contact Centre teams to ensure change initiatives are delivered effectively. You will work with Marketing, Product and Data Science teams to maximise conversion. You will play a key role in budgeting and re-forecasting to ensure that insight from factors affecting performance are considered.

The Commercial Delivery Team

This role will line manage 2 team members and support their professional development. The Commercial Delivery team includes Customer Acquisition and Retention, both reporting into the Head of Commercial Delivery.


* Create action plans to drive performance across D&G Inbound acquisition

* Propose creative ideas and solutions to improve performance

* Work with the Commercial Planning team to report on Inbound Acquisition and update key stakeholders about performance

* Manage Acquisition costs and maximise New Business fee

* Drive performance - utilise management information (MI) to drive performance improvements

* People Management – support 2 Executives and drive engagement initiatives across the wider Commercial Delivery team

* Operational Support – ensure correct products are available and call flows are optimised to drive conversion

* Reporting – provide regular updates on performance and revenue delivery against budget

* Change Management - drive performance on each acquisition route to market, lead on change initiatives and post-launch reporting

* Customer Strategy Collaboration - work with Data Science, Underwriting, Marketing and Product to ensure offers are optimised

* Customer Loyalty - support customer loyalty schemes across acquisition campaigns

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience of working within a busy, commercially focused environment

* Previous line management experience

* Previous experience of report writing

* Educated to Degree level

* A driven individual who can deliver on targets for commercial and customer

* Strong analytical and numerical skills

* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels

* Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills - intermediate level

* Previous experience of delivering projects and managing change (desirable)

* Able to manage operational KPIs and trend forecasting (desirable)

* Knowledge of Contact Centre, Data Management and Direct Marketing (desirable)
