Corporate Area Sales Manager (Inflight, Aquatic & Emerging Markets) - Travel Retail EMEA

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Travel Retail Europe, Middle East & Africa to appoint a Corporate Area Sales Manager. The role will be in charge of Inflight & Aquatic from a sell-in and sell-out perspective and overseeing and developing emerging markets from a sales and team management perspective. This position will report to the Regional Brand Director of La Mer, Kilian, Le Labo and Becca who is also overseeing the two channels as well as emerging markets corporately.

The candidate will be responsible for the total management of the area, including the achievement of net and retail targets through the management and development of Account Coordinators as well as Beauty Advisors. The candidate will also be liable for negotiating strong positioning with our brands and maximum share of voice on in-flight catalogues and for overseeing and developing our brands in the aforementioned emerging markets.

This will involve creating and implementing sales strategies for incremental growth and maximising the respective image of the brands whilst ensuring the highest standards are achieved. The role also requires establishing and maintaining excellent business relationships with our retail partners to ensure we maximise our business opportunities. Overseeing both channels and emerging markets from a Corporate angle makes this particular position very high profile and of key importance to our Travel Retail EMEA business. Also, this role requires the successful candidate to work extremely close with our Regional Brand Directors to ensure all plans are aligned with each brands budget and also with our Regional Marketing Managers to ensure all action plans are properly executed and followed through with.

The In-Flight and Aquatic channels and emerging markets are a key strategic area of focus for our division and the ideal candidate will need to develop a sustainable structure to lead these areas into the future.


The successful candidate will be a leader with very strong team development and management skills, excellent collaborative relationships skills and client management, and successful track record in retail operations. We will be looking for evidence of commercial acumen and natural interest in the beauty industry. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills are essential along with the passion and commitment to regularly travel to visit the area and the retailers. The successful candidate will ideally live in the vicinity of London, to be close to our head offices in Fitzrovia.
