We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room and Personal Account Dealing Analyst to join our team based in London Head Office.

The Control Room and Personal Account Dealing Analyst will be responsible for contributing to the maintenance of the integrity of the information barriers within SCIB UK, implementing controls and Policies in line with applicable legislation and regulation, and managing all personal account dealing activities.

The role forms part of the Wholesale and Corporate Compliance infrastructure part of the UK Control Room. The role reports directly to Head of Private Side Compliance, Wholesale and Corporate Compliance

As a Control Room and Personal Account Dealing Analyst your main responsibilities will be

* Take full responsibility for personal account dealing activities so as to ensure such trading is in adherence with applicable Regulations and local Policies.

* Contribute towards the maintenance of the integrity of the information barriers within San CodCon.

* UK and SLB namely “SCIB UK”, in taking full responsibility for Personal Account Dealing trade reconciliations and data administration into local and Group systems, including

* Contribute towards the mitigation of Market Abuse/ Insider Dealing within SCIB UK through the careful assessment of personal trades and compliance with applicable PA Dealing Policy in the UK.

* Identify and escalate questionable trading behaviours (based on trade confirmations/ annual reports) and breaches of policy to the head of Private Side Compliance in a timely manner.

* Analyse data and produce intelligence reports for management at both a UK and Group level.

* Act as co-ordinator for implementation of global deal management system, and liaise with counterparts in Spain in order to ensure the necessary requirements are being met.

* Managing and implementing the required controls that are the responsibility of the Control Room within the Wholesale & Corporate Compliance Team

Minimum skills and experience required

* Good understanding of the role and prior experience of the Control Room and Personal Account Dealing processes

* Bachelors certificate (or equivalent)

* Knowledge of the FCA rules and Compliance requirements

* Knowledge of Spanish regulation (including CNMV)

* Good understanding of MAR

* Good understanding of the FCA handbook, specifically SYSC, COBS and PRIN

* Technical understanding of financial instruments and of Wholesale/investment banking
