Contract Sales Manager – Hospitality & Office Furniture

Job Title: Contract Sales Manager – Hospitality & Office Furniture

Industry Sector: Main Contractors, Office Furniture, Schools, Specialist Sub Contractors, Specification Breaker, Hotel & Leisure, Hospitality, Furniture, Upholstery, Soft Seating, Acoustic Screens, Modular Systems, Dining and Laminated Furniture

Area to be covered: National – ideally based Manchester, Birmingham, London

Remuneration: Up to £50,000 + up to 5% Commission

Benefits: Fully expensed BMW car & benefits

The role of the Contract Sales Manager – Hospitality & Office Furniture will involve:

·        Field sales position selling our clients manufactured range of furniture and services

·        Breaking commercial specifications with main contactors and specialist sub contractors

·        Targeting commercial projects within office furniture, schools, but specifically working within the construction and hospitality sectors (hotels, restaurants etc.)

·        Typical project sizes from £10,000 up to £150,000, with an average between £25,000-£30,000

·        Brand new role for our client, hence new business orientation

·        Cold calling and building up a client database from scratch, whilst also utilising your own contacts within main contractors

·        Creating opportunities for our client to quote on live projects (typically win 30% of all quoted projects)

·        Autonomous role, our client does not believe in micro management

·        Tasked with achieving circa £300,000 of invoice sales in the first year

The ideal applicant will be a Contract Sales Manager - Hospitality & Office Furniture with:

·        Proven track record of breaking commercial project specifications with main contractors

·        Contacts within main contractors or hotel/ hospitality industry

·        New business hunter

·        Commission hungry/ tenacious

·        Open on product background

·        Knowledge of Furniture, Upholstery, Soft Seating, Acoustic Screens, Modular Systems, Dining and Laminated Furniture not essential

·        Excellent communicator, both internally and with customers

·        Looking to build a career within a growing business
