What you will do
Our Major Projects Group has teams around the UK and Ireland who are dedicated to delivering for our customers, high quality major projects across a broad range of sectors. We provide fire suppression (including sprinkler systems), fire detection, life safety, building management systems, security and integrated solutions to end users, developers and contractors.

Our Energy & Critical Environments team within Major Projects Group (MPG) is primarily focused on complex, highly engineered, fire suppression & detection solutions within the Energy (renewable & power generation), Petro-Chemical, Data Storage and Pharmaceutical markets/sectors. The Contract Sales Consultant will identify and qualify new business opportunities where the primary solutions are fire suppression and detection systems, with a secondary focus on the wider JCI enterprise solutions, integrated security and BMS, driving growth across the growth markets & sectors.

How you will do it
The Contract Sales Consultant will identify and qualify accounts in line with the defined business growth strategies in place across our Major Projects Group in the UK and Ireland. From this qualification, you role will be to develop a formal plan to win, bringing together a team to support.

All new opportunities created will be driven to close through the implementation and execution of a Strategic Opportunity Plan (SOP) – a formal plan to win bringing together a team to support and activities to drive towards closing. The key function of the role is to drive creation of high quality opportunities and conversion improvement that will translate into increased sale quality (i.e. higher volume, higher GM, more multi-solution and integrated deals etc)

Ability and discipline to focus on growth strategy - accounts & opportunities
Developing, communicating and presenting value in created solutions
Technical experience, competency and understanding of the solution
Experience in the Power Generation, Data Storage, Petro-Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors.
