You will be responsible for the management of relationships with motor and home insurance partners (including key industry names such as Aviva, Churchill, More Than, Admiral, Swinton, LV, Tesco and Axa). The role requires a strong appreciation of price comparison dynamics and the needs of a customer, with emphasis on how the insurance companies we work with can add value to our proposition and help secure a good customer experience resulting in sales for both parties.

To secure meaningful and productive relationships requires regular face-to-face contact and external meetings. There will be an expectation to travel within the UK and the role may involve participation in professional and social networking events. Knowledge of the home or motor insurance market would be a benefit (but not essential) and there will be an expectation to work closely with the product team.

Key responsibilities:

* Maximising existing revenue streams and opening new sources of income

* Negotiation of commercial terms including acquisition costs, acceptable conversion metrics and special offers/exclusive arrangements

* Identifying business development opportunities by building relationships with external partner organisations

* Reviewing data with an ability to articulate findings and use it to inform decision-making. May be required to use data to challenge partners in respect of poor performance

* Agreement and maintenance of contractual terms. Negotiations can often be complex and may involve both internal and external legal representatives

* Ensure that partners comply with general good practice and industry regulations

* Facilitate and co-ordinate technical change and development

* Timely receipt of sales information from partners

* Ensuring timely payment of invoices

* Understand market trading conditions and developments in the industry

* Key success metrics (targets to be agreed) Personal

* Achieve appropriate conversion metrics with partners

* Increasing revenue

* Special offers

* Regular contact with partners

Team:

* Support completion of IT projects

* Support completion of day to day change requests

* Support innovations and developments at Confused and sell concepts in to partners

* Work with internal teams and individuals to facilitate and co-ordinate partner needs as required

* Identification of new partners

* Identification of new innovations, opportunities and ideas
