Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support are in the process of recruiting for a highly established business in Sheffield as they recruit for a Commercial Inside Sales Manager as a result of key business expansion.

Reporting into a General Manager, the role has been created to accelerate the development of an exciting new venture within the Group and provide critical commercial support to the General Manager in the purchase and sales of products to pre-identified suppliers and customers.

It is essential that the successful Commercial Inside Sales Manager has first class communication skills and the confidence to professionally deal with external customers and suppliers at all levels as well as internal colleagues including General Manager, Sales Traders, Technical, Logistics and Operational Management.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

-Creation, maintenance and analysis of strategic reports and editing, where appropriate, stock data
-Qualify and vet all enquiries, orders and schedules received from customers
-Ensure orders are promptly and correctly entered into the ERP system and manufacturing instructions are accurate and clear, ensuring the smooth production process
-Monitor and maintain information on all product specifications across the entire product range, ensuring customers are updated as appropriate with any specification alterations
-Manage a customer complaint process and promptly taking the appropriate action
-Buying and sourcing externally if applicable in the event of stock shortfall
-Ensure that pricing policy is applied and interpreted in line with company policy and customer service level agreements
-Preparation and submission of quotations
-Prompt supply of up to date planning information
-Control of stock levels
-Ensure compliance of all customer contract information
-Promote, maintain and improve sales potential for the business

Key Skills Required

-At least 2 years of experience within a high intensity commercial environment
-First class communication skills and the ability to make a strong, positive impact when dealing with senior staff and customers
-Data entry experience
-IT literate with working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems
