Client Manager – Competitive Salary – London

The Role

VideoSmart are looking for a new Client Manager to join their team in London, driving the delivery of exciting client campaigns, pro-actively supporting the company’s growth and developing their social media and online presence.

As Client Manager, you will manage video campaigns for your key accounts from initial consultation through to post-campaign client support and liaise with clients on a daily basis to deliver projects in a timely manner. It will be your role to make sure each client is satisfied and that all video campaigns run smoothly by managing internal teams. Additionally, you will develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase VideoSmart awareness and engagement, proactively seeking opportunities for VideoSmart to appear in publications or in other forms of media.

The key responsibilities of a Client Manager include, but is not limited to:

  • Manage the end to end delivery of video campaigns
  • Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of projects and campaigns, including the co-ordination and hosting of quarterly face-to-face service reviews
  • Work alongside the creative resource manager to generate concepts, scripts, storyboards and videos
  • Work closely with the development and design team to overcome challenges and problem solve
  • Set and monitor budgets for campaigns, then raise invoices on VideoSmart’s Management Information System
  • Generate post-campaign reports and co-ordinate campaign debriefs with the client
  • Grow account revenue and generate subsequent campaign interest with your key accounts
  • Enter VideoSmart for relevant awards and create the submission
  • Generate blog content and other collateral for VideoSmart’s website and social media sites

The key skills and qualities of a Client Manager:

  • 2-3 years of agency or marketing experience
  • Eager to explore the world of digital communications and excited about new digital video solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal skills and good negotiation skills
  • The ability to generate ideas and express opinions
  • The ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks at once, work effectively to deadlines and respond to clients in a timely manner
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team to effectively complete daily tasks
  • Good motivational skills, strong common sense and problem-solving skills, and an excellent attention to detail
