Channel Sales Account Manager – Telecom Managed Services

 

Based Bristol/South Wales

 

Salary £40k-£50k Basic, £70k OTE

 

 

Our client is a leading Global supplier of Telecoms Networking Equipment and Managed Services. We supply the majority of the World’s major Telecom companies, delivering a range of equipment and services enabling our customers to manage their infrastructure more efficiently. Due to expansion, we are now looking to expand our Sales team with the appointment of an additional Channel Sales Account Manager.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the sales of our active and passive fibre optic product range across the whole of the EMEA. The role will be focused on selling into the System integrator market, OEMs and Global Operators. You will open new opportunities inside fresh accounts while growing contacts and finding new opportunities within existing accounts ensuring sustainable and annual growth. The role will also be responsible for building and deploying a channel sales strategy for the division. Your aim will be to build long term relationships within their customer group to ensure sustained repeat business.  You will generate opportunities and sell products and services to achieve revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets.

 

Preferably a technology graduate, the ideal candidate will be a proven and accomplished Sales Professional with at least 3 years Channel Sales experience in the Telecoms/IT sector. You will have successful and demonstrable experience of identifying, opening and growing new accounts. You will be commercially astute and able to quickly identify client challenge and possible solutions. You will also be able to show strong tender management and bid capabilities. EMEA Sales experience and additional European languages would be highly desirable.
