Groupon Goods, the retail arm of our business, is a daily one-stop shop for brand-name essentials and unexpected, one-of-a-kind finds. For our merchants, this means massive exposure, smart promotion, and reliable fulfillment. For our customers, this means great deals on a variety of products ranging from electronics to clothing, home goods to beauty.

Working in Goods, you will join a retail-savvy team whose goal is to procure and provide customers with the products they want, when they want them. As a Buyer's Admin Assistant, you will assist our Buying team in growing the selection of products on the Goods platform. Whether you're performing technical or administrative tasks, the work you do will directly contribute to the Buying team's efforts to achieve sales targets, increase site inventory, and execute on overall category strategy.

You’ll spend time on the following:

Source, select, and negotiate products to feature on Goods platform

Stay current with industry trends to ensure the most enticing and profitable products are presented to customers

Manage vendor data in lead management system (Salesforce)

Generate reports to analyse item performance against previous years or competitors

Support Associate Buyers, Buyers, and Senior Buyers

Work with and influence partners within and outside of the Goods team

We’re excited about you if you have:

Bachelor's degree preferred

1-2 years experience in online retailing, retail buying, retail category management, or merchandising

You have a strong desire to progress career within the merchandising or buying industry

You love building relationships inside and outside the organization

Experience generating and handling reporting and analysis

You are meticulous in your attention to detail with a proven record of delivering results while juggling multiple projects

You have an uncanny ability to focus in a whirlwind of change, even if that includes the occasional karaoke challenge

You are an excellent and efficient communicator, both via keyboard and in person

You take an entrepreneurial approach to task management and are comfortable taking control and manage tasks independently
