To help with the ongoing growth of the Workplace business, we are seeking a world-class Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager who is passionate about Workplace by Facebook and the role that a connected workforce can play in improving the productivity of an organisation.

As the BI and Analytics Manager for Workplace you and your team will drive data driven insights and reporting to measure our business' top goals and KPIs, inform sales and marketing strategy, and assess business performance. You will increase business efficiency through automation and enable senior leadership to make effective, data driven decisions. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Engineering and Data Science to design and deliver analytically driven insights and solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to help scale a fast growing, emerging business within Facebook.

The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science or a highly analytical field, will have experience working with large data stores and with relevant coding languages. You are focused on results, a self-starter, and have demonstrated success in using analytics to drive sales and marketing insights and performance. This is a full-time position and is located in our London office.


Lead and develop a team of high performing Business Analysts

Drive a coordinated Business Intelligence and Automation strategy to enable tracking of business KPIs and reporting on business performance at scale

Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders globally, gather requirements and deliver reporting/analytics solutions to meet those requirements

Manage a roadmap of analytics projects including rapid, sprint style development and communicate regularly on progress

Conceptualise and build centralised tools (including dashboards) that the Workplace sales and marketing teams can use to extract data / insights in an automated manner

deep understanding of data flows and data definitions to creatively address complex business requirements

architect and drives delivery of clean, maintainable solutions

Author and review pipelines via SQL and python based ETL framework

Conduct deep dives and mine massive amounts of data to extract meaningful insights for the sales and marketing teams

Understand Enterprise Solutions / SaaS Industry trends, and use these to inform analytics approaches

Support the Workplace Team with setting goals/KPIs and with key planning efforts as needed


BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitative fields

Significant work experience in data analytics, having managed others and developed people leadership capability.

Insight and thought leadership on data architecture and tools integration in high growth enterprises

Experience in setting up and implementing a reporting solution for sales/marketing teams with a strong emphasis on automation, self-service and visualisation

Advanced Excel skills, experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.) and other programming languages

Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights

Understanding and experience of core business processes including Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success in a SaaS or subscription-based organization

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization, both technical and non-technical

Ability to work independently, think creatively, manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Experience communicating with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders


Prior B2B SaaS experience including Sales Analytics, Marketing Analytics and/or User Growth Accounting
Understanding of statistical analysis, experience with packages, such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc
Experience in integrating Salesforce with other tools and data sources
