Business Insights Manager
As a Commercial Insight Manager, you will take ownership on ensuring that channel, category and commercial plans are grounded in fact and genuine insight. You will provide an external view of performance, both retrospective and future focussed, that helps define the 3-year channel strategy and ensures Britvic are targeting the most valuable opportunities. You will be the go-to expert on the external data and insight for your stakeholders.
Working closely with external agencies delivering continuous data, this individual will partner with category, finance & commercial operations teams/directors internally to help provide answers and solutions to key business questions on Grocery & Discounters. The role combines an exciting mix of strategic channel input, ‘hands on’ data management and Exec level business partnering. A key focus will be providing key insight on our brand & product performance V market growth V our competition in the market.
The GB Business Insight team has three Commercial Insight Managers… one per channel (Grocery, Convenience, Licensed & Foodservice), reporting into the Senior Business Insight Manager. The team sits within the wider Value Strategy team in Commercial Operations.
If you currently work in a continuous data agency or have client-side insights experience working with a data agency and are aligned to the consumer goods market then this role could be for you. The role sits in a supportive team but offers a huge amount of autonomy and would offer great progression and development into an lead insight lead role.

What we’re looking for…
* Commercial experience, with experience of working in Research/ Insight – client or agency side
* Experience working on FMCG brands
* Strong numeracy skills and ability to interpret data from a range of data sources (continuous and ad-hoc)
* Good communication skills (written & oral) with an ability to influence others across different levels within an organisation
* Experience of working in the Grocery & Discounter channel is desirable
* Experience of using Grocery & Discounter data, e.g. Nielsen, IRI, HIM
* Previous management of client/ agency relationship
