My client offers a huge range of innovative and exciting products within the employee benefits sector.

Description

A core part of our clients business is based on volume sales of cinema tickets to thier clients, partners, affiliates and beneficiaries. We sell low value items in large quantities with a relatively small profit margin. Our aim is to grow our business by increasing the number of customers that we have and increasing the amount of business that we do with them. The core purpose of the role is to act at three levels:

  • To grow and develop sales and profitability from their current client base, both in the Bulk Sales (Reward, Incentive & Recognition) environment and the Cinema Benefits (Employee Benefits) markets.

  • To develop and introduce plans to grow core client base in the Bulk & Benefits markets, delivering marketing strategies that will bring new and loyal customers to our door.

  • To manage the 'Pop-up' Cinema strategy to deliver growth - recruiting new business partners for all participating cinema chains and delivering increased sales and profitability through a robust KIT plan.

In addition, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Operational Marketing Team to develop and deliver a plan to increase awareness of the new proposition, particularly through Lead Generation and Beneficiaries channels.

Profile

You'll most likely be an existing Business Development Manager looking for a change in direction, or a hungry Executive looking for that next career opportunity.

You'll connect with colleagues in Marketing, Client Services, Legal and Finance to challenge the status quo, as well as our Cinema Partners, developing new processes and procedures to improve the way that we work as a collective. As a result, this role isn't for the feint-hearted. You'll be commercially astute, confident, well-organised and outgoing. It's important that the relationships that we build with our stakeholders are based on trust and with a mutual respect for our collective business aims, so you'll need to be sympathetic to their needs as well as ours.

You'll work with the Filmology team in Milton Keynes, but some business travel is expected. Key elements of the role include:

  • To take ownership of the Bulk Sales (Vouchers) eCommerce Channel, driving sales and profitability.

  • To develop and deliver a strategic plan of action to grow the number of Bulk Sales clients.

  • To take ownership of the Employee Benefits (Cinema Benefits) eCommerce Channel, driving sales and profitability.

  • To develop and deliver a strategic plan of action to grow the number of Cinema Benefits clients, including the 'Pop-up' cinema proposition.

  • To manage the Business Development Executive and the Operations Executive, providing guidance and support to deliver agreed business objectives.

  • To develop and deliver an annual marketing plan to support the Bulk Sales, Cinema Benefits and 'Pop-up' cinema channels.

  • Through the Operational Marketing Team, develop and deliver a plan to increase awareness of the Filmology proposition, particularly through Lead Generation and Beneficiaries channels.

Job Offer
