Business Development Team Leader - London

Salary: £30,000 for the right candidate plus bonus and commission

The Company
Our client is an industry leading provider of specialist finance training. They have over 20 years’ experience delivering world class courses to blue-chip clients. The company is now adding to its team as part of its next phase of growth and is looking for an additional team member to take on responsibility and oversight for supervising of a team.

The Role
The role will involve ensuring that key decision makers globally in banks, law firms, M&A advisory firms, private equity firms, accountancy firms and fund management firms are added to our CRM correctly by the remote team of data-miners.
The successful candidate will also contribute to the sales and marketing of our range of courses by adding contacts to our CRM, cold calling existing decision makers in CRM as well as new decision makers that they find and develop. They will be required to take full responsibility of their prospect list and their sales lead pipeline by managing and updating the CRM (MS Dynamics).
The candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing:

Supervising a team of remote data-miners
Managing data-miner training and upskilling
Forward planning a schedule for datamining activity: o Analysing and determining which accounts have potential to be scoped by data-miners
Implementing a quality control process to manage and control the accuracy and effectiveness of all data-mining activity
Weekly e-meetings to re-iterate expectations, go through any queries with the data-miners
Checking the validity of invoices from the data-mining company
Managing the calendar in relation to data-miner holidays and sickness.

Business Development
Cold calling prospects to Introducing Redcliffe’s courses and webinars to potential clients all over the world
Making appointments
Participating in client meetings
Managing your prospect base to ensure all decision makers from all departments / divisions of the Target account are added to the CRM and called and e-marketed to
Researching websites, Social Media, articles and publications and adding appropriate contacts to the CRM
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM
The on-going visiting of client websites to obtain new contacts to add to the CRM
Telephoning companies / contacts to verify contact data on the CRM
Marketing Redcliffe training courses o verifying all bounces from e-shots and updating contact details on our databases
Processing bookings for courses and webinars from e-shots
Answering incoming calls (dealing with queries, transferring and advising)
Plus any other duties to assist the department

You will be expected to effectively supervise a team of remote data-miners
You will be expected to ensure that the contacts added to CRM by data-mining activity is of high quality : accuracy and appropriate level of decision maker
You will be expected to ensure that the targeted number of data-mined contacts added to CRM is achieved
You will be expected to cold call a large number of prospects (all banks)
You will be expected to speak with senior decision makers from these accounts (Globally) to seek out and increase business levels
You will be expected to be proficient in researching skills o Find out what the client company does, all their different business lines that are relevant for us to market courses to
Determine who the heads of the various departments are
Apply thought to the types of courses that are being shared with that department
You will be expected to work smart
You will be expected to work quickly, we pride ourselves on quickly answering client enquiries immediately
We quickly retrieve information from our CRM to support our calls to clients, and also incoming client enquiries
This is a fast-paced environment so you will need to be a very quick learner
You will be expected to take detailed notes to aid you after the induction training
You will be expected to ask lots of relevant questions

Essential Requirements:
Excellent use of all Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent listening skills
Must be extremely well organised
The ability to manage own workload, prioritise and work/keep to deadlines
Must have a good eye for detail
Must have a “can do” attitude
Must be accurate and diligent
Must be a quick learner
Must be enterprising
Must be hard working and proactive
Must be focussed on the client

20 days (this is currently under review with a view to increasing it so all staff are given an extra paid day off for each full year they are employed over two years and to a maximum of five years)
Auto enrolment pension
Commission : calculated and paid quarterly
4% to £12,000 a month
7% thereafter
