Business Development Sales

£75k Basic, £150k OTE + Benefits

Our client are a European, state owned provider of renewable energy to Government and large Corporate enterprises. With worldwide offices in 18 countries and almost 4000 employees, they are looking to expand their business within the UK and key to this expansion is the recruitment of a high level Business Development Manager based out of London.

Based from home, the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling large ticket, long term solutions to large corporations and Government buildings. You will deal with complex processes and multiple stakeholders building strong relationships over fairly long lead times.

Educated to degree level, the ideal applicant will have 5-10 years senior Government and/or Corporate sales experience with a successful and consistent track record of closing deals with large organisations over complex sales cycles. You will have a strong understanding of contract negotiation and execution. Your communication and presentation skills will be at the highest executive level and you will be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to learn new power market concepts, legal structures and property law. Experience of the power industry would be an advantage as would managing a large commercial property portfolio as clients.
