Business Development Representative – Managed IT & Cloud Tech Company
UK Remote with adhoc London Meet-Ups
£30,000 – £35,000 Basic (£40,000 – £50,000 OTE)

Our Story:

In 2018 our founder embarked on a round that world trip after exiting a tech start-up which he led from 0 to £2 Million revenue in 2 years. As he travelled South America, New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia he discovered the beauty of being able to work from anywhere – a hotel room, a home office, or even from the beach. (Light bulb) He realised that the next generation of cloud software and flexible working technology could create impactful change for people by creating a happier work environment which would, in turn, create fast growing and successful businesses.

After a number of months of thought and planning, on 3rd April 2018 from a beach side cafe in Noosa, Australia the company was incorporated….

Our mission is to deliver the best technology to customers and provide an outstanding customer and employee experience. We have ambitious growth plans to expand our team from 8 to 25 employees by the end of 2021 and deliver on a 4-year strategy to grow beyond £10m in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 2025.

We help fast growing companies of around 20-50 employees that are scaling by taking care of the overhead for IT support and operations, whilst enhancing security, infrastructure and processes to allow IT to scale with the growth of the business.

We are headquartered in London with the team currently working remotely or from home. Flexible and remote working is a key area where we help customers and very much part of our company culture.

Where we need your talent:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient Business Development Representative to join us on this rapid growth journey.

As part of our high-performance sales team your role will be to seek new business opportunities by directly contacting and developing relationships with potential clients. You will be provided with the latest tools for prospecting via phone, email and social media, along with support from Data Researchers, Account Executives and Technical Pre-sales teams. Our target market is fast growing tech companies, so you will be engaging directly with exciting businesses and senior decision makers.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have the right competencies and characteristics with a good base level of experience, capability and knowledge. This is an outbound, customer-facing role that will be both challenging and rewarding. The idea candidate for the Business Development Representative (BDR) role would have:

Experience, Qualifications & Knowledge

+ Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field.
+ Proven experience in business development, lead generation or sales roles.
+ Track record of achieve sales and quota targets.
+ Experience of using cloud software such as CRM, O365 and cloud telephony.
+ Previous experience of home or remote working environment.
+ Skilled at using outbound marketing tools (e.g. Sales Navigator or Mailchimp).

+ Ability to work productivity in a team based or collaborative environment
+ Relationship and rapport builder
+ Strong work ethic and ambitious

Location & Travel:

Primarily working from home with some days required at our head office in London – however we do allow remote work in different locations if UK business hours are kept. We are all working from our homes at present and it is expected you will do the same. Travel costs and expenses outside of normal working requirements will be reimbursed.
