Job Title: Business Development Manager – Underfloor Heating Systems

Industry Sector: HVAC, Plumbing & Heating, M&E Contractors, HIU, Heat Interface Unit, Underfloor Heating, Plumbing Pipes & Fittings, Pre-Insulated Pipework, Commercial Plumbing, Heating Systems, Pipework, Building Services, M&E Contractors, Plumbing & Heating Merchants, Renewables Installers, Installers, Developers, Architects

Area to be covered: National (will focus on Midlands & North)

Remuneration: £35,000 + £40,000 + bonus

Benefits: £500 car allowance + comprehensive benefits package

The role of the Business Development Manager – Underfloor Heating Systems will involve:

·           Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of underfloor heating systems as well as the design and installation

·           The majority of your time will be spent sell to renewables installers, M&E contractors main contractors, developers, builders, and other plumbing & heating contractors

·           The remaining small portion of your time will be spent generating specifications / conducting CPD’s with M&E consultations / architects

·           All of your time will be spent generating new business relationships

·           The company are currently running above budget expectation

·           Typical order values can range from £10,000-£100,000+

·           Dealing with projects such as; student accommodation, nursing homes, leisure and residential

 

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Underfloor Heating Systems with:

·           Must have sold a technical related HVAC product such as; underfloor heating, plumbing systems, pipework, press fittings, boilers, water heating systems, renewables, building services, heat interface units (would consider ventilation / air conditioning product backgrounds if you have the relevant route to market)

·           Must have sold to renewables installers, M&E contractors, developers, builders and plumbing & heating contractor

·           Would consider a more specification driven sales person if you have the contractors relationships

·           Preferably a manufacturing field sales background, but also open to a distribution field sales background

·           Must be able to manage your own diary and hit the ground running

·           Must be trustworthy and loyal
