Business Development Manager, Telecoms, £45,000- £60,000 basic, £90k OTE (uncapped) + Pension, East Sussex. This is an outstanding B2B business development sales opportunity with a Telecoms specialist selling into the private sector. The role is perfect for an 'A grade door opener' that loves the cut and thrust of business development. As a business developer, you will be an expert at networking across C-Suite decision makers as well as being able to gain the trust of facilitators and influencers to uncover new potential opportunities.

This business has experienced significant growth over the last quarter, and they would like to capitalise on current market conditions by expanding their sales team. This is a field-based business development role where you will be tasked with securing new business. Although new business is the main focus, you are able to retain those accounts and continue to nurture those relationships once won. Projects are typically £100K plus, and you will be fully supported by relevant technical experts to convert complex projects.

You will be required to come into the office to remain part of the team as your role will be viewed as pivotal for the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 'real hunter' and would suit someone who is motivated by a lucrative commission structure and autonomous working environment.

If you have worked for an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or a Managed Service Provider (MSP) this would be highly advantageous.

Above all you will be a dynamic achiever, perhaps frustrated by a lack of autonomy or lack of ability to demonstrate your commercial creativity and entrepreneurship in your current role. You will be a consummate professional that is well presented and possessing superb communication skills, both written and verbal.

You must have a minimum of 5 years B2b sales experience in the telecoms industry to be successful for this position. You must also have 5 years' experience in a new business related role.

This role is office and field based.
