Business Development Manager, SAAS, up to £120K Basic OTE £300K. This is an incredibly varied field sales role based in the UK. This is working for a prestigious company that have experienced significant growth year on year and are one of the fastest growing companies in the SAAS sector. This role has been created as part of their UK expansion plan meaning that you will be provided with training and support with the chance of unlimited financial progression.

This client is a highly established software firm that specialises in providing solutions into major engineering firms. The sales role is field based, but boasts the opportunity to work from home, and is perfect for an 'A grade door opener' that loves the cut and thrust of business development. As a business developer, you will be an expert at networking across C-Suite decision makers as well as being able to gain the trust of facilitators and influencers to uncover new potential opportunities.

This is a field-based business development role where you will be tasked with securing new projects that are typically £100K plus, and you will be fully supported by sector-specific experts to convert complex projects. The software is traditionally sold as SAAS but is also customisable for clients. It is a more attractive proposition than that of the major international competitors. Their huge and highly established competition are slow to adapt to changing methodologies, and as a consequence, they are winning project after project when in direct competition with them. The role is selling the software to a wide range of industries, but recent wins include Power Generation, major engineering contractors, transport, defence and general manufacturing.

To apply you must have a minimum of 5 years Software or SAAS sales experience, and have experience dealing with high value contracts across either public or private sector.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be a professional 'hunter' that can open doors at senior levels and work autonomously to deliver sales targets. To apply, you will have a highly commercial approach to software sales and able to deploy your time and resources to optimum effect. You will be experienced in managing pipeline, consistent forecasting and working to time-proved sales methodologies. Knowledge of 'social selling' techniques would be very useful.
