Role:

This ruggedised mobile computer vendor is expanding its sales force by looking for a dynamic, new business focussed Business Development Manager who is well versed in channel sales and thrives in a partner acquisition environment. Your role will be to sell through these partners with a view of forging lasting relationships that will continue to facilitate the ongoing sales of this solution set. Typically, these relationships will be with other technology organisations (Software Houses, Systems Integrators, Resellers, Consultancies etc.) and the end user will usually be clients within Industrial, Utilities, Geomatics, Natural Resources or Public Services “outdoorsy type industries.” With a minimum of 10 years sales experience and solid apprehension of how to sell through channel partners; the ideal candidate is someone with ambition, great interpersonal skills and the ability to think on their feet. Our client is looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience of closing deals into channel partners coupled with a proven track record of selling ruggedised mobile computers.  

Candidate Skills Required:

- 10 years sales experience   

- Sold ruggedised hardware  

- Sold through channel partners

Candidate Skills Beneficial:

- Degree educated

- Experience of winning new name channel partners

- Track record of achieving/overachieving against targets
