Business Development Manager, up to £70,000, £110,000 OTE, Nationwide new business development role securing conceptual sales projects into large FMCG Food and Beverage firms. Ideally, you will be based in the South East/Midlands.

This is a corporate new business development role that is selling into the UK's largest manufacturers of food and beverage products, together with the suppliers of own-brand products.

It is conceptual selling, that requires a highly consultative and professional sales approach, dealing at very senior levels. You are expected to secure significant contracts to supply and will be targeted on £3M of new business wins in your first eighteen months.

This role requires an individual that has always excelled in professional selling and has consistently been at the top of league tables within their sales teams. For clarity, this is not a role for individuals looking for Account Management or salespeople that expect leads to be generated for them.

To Apply:

+ You must be a phenomenal new business-oriented sales professional that is used to winning significant contracts from scratch.

+ you will be a sales quota bearing sales professional that details on their CV their performance against sales targets.

+ You will be used to board-level procurement negotiations.

+ You will be a self-starter that possesses great sales habits and has a reputation for very high levels of activity.

+ In a DiSC psychometric profile, you will have high levels of D qualities. In MBTI you will be ENTJ, ESTJ or similar. If this doesn't mean anything to you then Google '16 personalities' and take a free test.

+ The successful applicant will be the kind of person with a 'thirst for learning' and always looking to increase their knowledge and skills. Ideally, you will have either sales qualifications or can detail the formal sales training programmes that you have attended. These could be sales programmes such as SPIN, Professional Selling, Miller Heiman, Sandler Selling System, Huthwaite, Value Selling Framework, The Challenger Sale, etc.

+ To succeed, you must possess a terrific positive sales attitude together with gravitas and the ability to 'ferret' within an organisation to gain access to the right decision-makers.
