The organisation is a manufacturer and supplier of bespoke luxury fabrics and soft furnishings. They are the preferred supplier to some of the largest hotel chains, home builders and interior design companies in the UK.

Business Development Manager - Premium Fabric Supplier

  • The role focuses on onboarding contract clients such as Hotel Chains and Interior design companies
  • This is a client facing business development role which involves the full 360 sales cycle
  • Initial lead generation through networking, cold calling and through your own network
  • meeting, negotiating with and closing prospective clients
  • Selling bespoke fabrics and soft furnishing solutions to clients at all levels
  • Working to hit and beat an agreed upon sales target

Profile

Business Development Manager - Premium Fabric Supplier

  • Significant business development experience is essential, 5 years +
  • Experience selling into the hospitality/hotel industry is essential
  • A network of clients within the hospitality industry would be preferred
  • Experience selling fabrics/lighting/carpets etc B2B is preferred
  • A strong ability to build rapport at all levels
  • An ability to manage your own diary effectively is essential
  • An ability to effectively work towards an agreed upon financial target
  • Confidence, tenacity and determination is crucial

Job Offer

A basic salary of up to £50,000 plus excellent commission and company benefits
