Business Development Manager, Midlands, Field and Home based, Up to £35,000 basic + Bonus + Car + Fantastic Benefits!

This is a really exciting opportunity to join an impressive manufacturing brand with a brilliant reputation in the UK rail industry. This company have been specialising in selling into the rail industry for almost 40 years and have an unbeatable reputation for excellence. Unusually specific industry experience is not required as full training will be provided.

This rare vacancy will provide you with the opportunity to sell predominantly into leading rail brands as well as into architects and commercial project managers meaning that no two days will be the same! You will focus on selling composite parts often as part of larger specification projects. So, the right candidate will naturally take a consultative approach to sales and will have a great technical mindset with the ability to learn technical products quickly. As the company have an established reputation, the majority of your leads will be provided, and you will also work regularly with established clients.

Supported by the fantastic sales manager and growing sales team, this role provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to progress long-term as well as earn uncapped bonus. You will be both field and home based so experience in managing your own diary and 'patch' is essential! As full training is provided this is an excellent chance to break into a new industry and develop your sales skills.

What else is required?

* A proven track record in field sales success with a minimum of 2 years experience

* Ideally experience of selling technical products or solutions

* Lots of ambition! This role is absolutely jumping off point within the company, so an ambitious and career-focused individual is likely to succeed

* A consultative approach and experience in high-value specification sales is a bonus!
