Business Development Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Industry Sector: Interior Fit-Out, Fit-Out Companies, Furniture, Interior Products, Office Furniture, Interior Designers, Dealer Partners, Dealers

Area to be covered: Midlands (ideally based West Midlands)

Remuneration: £45,000 -£50,000 (depending on exp) + 25% of gross profit (circa £40,000)

Benefits: car allowance up £500 OR company car & full benefits package

The role of the Business Development Manager – Interior Fit-Out will involve:

·         Field sales position selling the full design, supply and fit-out of furniture for interior spaces

·         All of your time will be spent selling to fit-out companies, dealers and large end users

·         Problem solving, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers’ needs

·         Tasked with growing new business revenue to £1m

·         Typical projects would include offices, universities, schools, local authority and large end users

·         Majority of your time will be focused on developing new business relationships with your existing contact however will be given some projects already underway

·         Will have extensive internal lead generation support

·         Must upkeep CRM system

·         Home based position, but it likely you will spend one day per week in our clients offices

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Interior Fit-Out with:

·         Must have a proven track record selling the design, supply and fit-out for interior spaces  

·         Must have dealt with fit-out companies, dealers and large end users

·         Must be able to work autonomously

·         Must have contacts within the Midlands region

·         Ideally have in depth knowledge of interior spaces and products such as: furniture office furniture, seating, acoustics, partitions, glass partitions, panelling systems, flooring

·         Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative

·         Excellent communication and negotiation skills

·         Ability to manage multiple projects / problem solving attitude

·         Good time management skills, focused and customer service orientated
