Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: Basic Salary Up to £40,000 DOE + Car + Bonus Package

Location: Nationwide (ideally based north of London in Beds, Bucks or Herts) - Hybrid with travel to clients

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and outgoing BDM to support our ambitious plans for growth and assist in proactively developing new business.

We are looking for someone who is resourceful and energetic, who is self-motivated, with the hunger to identify and approach new customers. In a challenging market, your achievements will be generously rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create sustainable, consistent profit-making sales and new business.
  • Be a brand ambassador, understand and embrace the Sprint offer
  • Identify target markets and develop opportunities
  • Generate leads by cold calling prospective customers
  • Seek out the relevant contacts to approach
  • Arrange and attend face to face meetings
  • Create and deliver professional, compelling sales presentations
  • Be tenacious - ensure leads are brought to a natural conclusion
  • Develop and manage a strong and growing forward sale pipeline

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to work independently
  • The ability to meet short deadlines and specific targets
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Working constructively with demanding customers
  • Some catering and hospitality experience would be advantageous
  • Natural, professional sales skills
  • An excellent communicator with fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Full driving licence
  • PC literate / MS Office (PowerPoint / Word / Excel)
  • Good understanding of all social media platforms
  • Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends
