Business Development Manager - HR Consultancy
Requirements
Working as part of a small team you will be the driving force behind developing new clients. You will:
- Have experience of Business Development within and HR and/or Professional services environment
- Respond to incoming leads generated by an external digital marketing agency or website enquiries
- Identify and develop opportunities in target markets. Generate leads as appropriate, using company information to access warm contacts
- Nurture and develop relationships with new customer accounts, attend face-to-face meetings, plan and prepare presentations
- Provide advice on the full range of services offered
- Understand business issues and discuss HR levers with potential clients, translate their issues into HR solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with clients in line with internal guidelines
- Work with the Managing Director & Head of Consulting colleagues to ensure service offerings meet client needs and expectations
- Keep the Managing Director updated on your progress and timeline, providing accurate forecasts of anticipated business
- As the business grows, attend events and network, take stands at exhibitions and conferences
- Participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews and monthly one to ones

Requirements
The organisation is looking for individuals that already have a reasonable understanding of HR as it relates to SMEs.
Ideally a business developer and/or account manager with a track record of developing clients, building relationships, finding solutions and securing new business.
Essential requirements are:
- Experience within sales/business development within a Professional Services environment
- A track record of securing new clients
- Commercially aware, adept at understanding business needs and HR levers
Job Offer
A basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 plus excellent commission
