The role as Business Development Manager will be to sell telecommunications and connectivity through Lease line broadband and VoIP sales to SME's in the North West.

Client Details

My client is a well known FTSE 250 business in the UK selling telecommunications, broadband and VoIP sales to a wide range of businesses.


The key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be:

  • Win new business with SME's in the North of England
  • Map out your market and target new business that the company hasn't targeted
  • Work closely with the lead generation team to act on leads quickly
  • Use your network to speak to SME's you may have dealt with in the past
  • Able to work in a 360 field sales role
  • Meet with clients face to face on a daily basis
  • Able to manage your own diary and use the CRM system


The successful Business Development Manager will have:

  • At least 2 years B2B field sales experience
  • A proven track record in B2B telecommunications or in a Tech business
  • A proven track record of winning new business
  • Able to articulate figures and key wins
  • You will be engaging and personable when meeting clients face to face
  • Have experience in a 360 sales role - from lead generation to closing
  • Hold a full driving licence and able to covering North of Birmingham
